John has worked with young people for over 15 years in local, state, and national roles. This has included leading respite camps for foster children, training youth workers, producing resources and consulting with churches and services about their work with young people. He is currently engaged in research regarding young people, belonging and participation and is part of the National Youth and Young Adults Team.

Lyn has worked and volunteered for The Salvation Army for 40 years in the as a corps officer, in youth and children’s, and in officer personnel. Lyn has studied counselling and spiritual direction, and she is convinced of the positive impact the mentoring can have for those in ministry and leadership.
